RADAN Technical Support Engineers - Bath

RADAN is a highly successful computer aided manufacturing software company specialising in sheet metal software. The RADAN product range is developed, distributed and supported in the UK and is globally distributed through resellers.

The Role

We are looking to employ a Technical Support Engineer for our RADAN range of products to work as part of the Technical Support Team in our office just outside of Bath.

Our Support Team delivers excellent customer service levels, by providing quality technical support whilst promoting good practice in relation to technical issues using relevant industry knowledge.
 

The Applicant

The successful applicant will need to be committed to providing operational support to our customers via our Helpdesk environment. Support of our customers will take the form of; telephone, remote desktop access, email and Customer Support Portal. Good communications, analytical skills, initiative and flexible approach are all needed to provide acceptable resolutions to our customer support issues.  There may be a requirement to do on-site consultancy and other on-site customer tasks as well as support the UK & International Sales Teams if necessary.  Therefore you must be willing to occasionally travel both within the UK as well as internationally to meet business needs.

The Requirements

A background in computer aided manufacturing in the sheet metal industry is preferred but we welcome engineers with strong manufacturing experience in any CNC part-programming and machining.  Ideally you would have a working knowledge of RADAN software.     

Delegates will have a logical approach and an ability to work in co-operation with other team members, demonstrate a “can do, will do” attitude, be reliable, and willing to learn the range of RADAN products in order to support our customer base. A recognised mechanical qualification is required, ideally HNC – Mechanical & Production or higher qualifications are welcome, valid full driving licence and PC skill-sets are essential.
